Canoe drifting, day quiet. Then she appeared: a cow moose, her calf close behind, stepping from the trees and swimming across the lake, right in front of us. In awe, I fumbled with my camera-yet what I captured was more than an image. It was the feeling of eutierria: to be one with nature, when the wild reminds us that we are not separate, but part of its great unfolding.
